Makaʻi Fest moves the way the island is divided — moku by moku, mauka to makai. All six moku of Oʻahu are on the map. Kona, the home moku, holds the civic heart of Honolulu and the milestone festival grounds at the Civic Center & Kakaʻako; every other moku carries events now forming.

Nā moku o Oʻahu — the island, divided the way it has always been divided.

Each division is a moku — a traditional land division running from the uplands to the sea, and every one of them is in scope. Kona is brightest because it is the home moku, where landmark stories are in production now. Tap any moku to enter it.

Behind the map sits the Mokunet registry — our island-wide knowledge partner holding the names, boundaries, and moʻolelo behind every place. As sponsors and community partners bring events to each moku, they take their place here. No redesign — just more island.
